What's Up with Wendy is a live, weekly celebrity radio show
that gives listeners an inside look at what's new, what's hot, and what's
happening from Rodeo Drive to the back stages of Hollywood sets. Each
week, the show features celebrity interviews and a hot Hollywood reporter
with all the happenings in the entertainment industry. Some of Wendy's
guests have included Entertainment Tonight's Co-Hosts, Nancy O'Dell and
Mark Steines, The Insider's Kevin Frazier, Celebrity Hairdresser to the
stars Campbell McAuley, Regis Philbin, Treat Williams, Joan Lunden, John
Stamos, Marlo Thomas, Martha Plimpton, Lisa Swayze, Cat Deeley, Amy Yasbeck,
Nicholas Sparks, Geraldo Rivera, Kevin Bacon, Celebrity Trainer Gunnar
Peterson, and more of the hottest stars in television, literature, and
film.
What's Up with Wendy also plays an important role in bringing attention to
charitable causes, both for celebrities, like Marlo Thomas's St. Jude's
Hospital; Amy Yasbeck's John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health; and Lee
Woodruff's ReMIND.org, as well as local charities like the Mikey Czech
Foundation and TeamConnor, both for raising awareness of and bringing
attention to childhood cancer.
WENDY LOWY SLOANE BIO
Wendy Lowy Sloane started her career warming up audiences for Phil Donahue
and was quickly hired as a producer for the Geraldo Rivera Show. Wendy made
nationwide news for her in-depth shows featuring the OJ Simpson trial and
the tragic death of child beauty queen Jon-Benet Ramsey. Wendy produced
Geraldo's weekly Celebrity News shows, which were a hallmark of his daytime
program. Moving on with her career, Wendy landed a key job in radio in New
York City and was hired to be the Executive/on-air Producer for BIG 105 with
Danny Bonaduce.
