Mike Schiano, The Debt Buster, is a native of Providence, Rhode Island and grew up in South Florida. He received a bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in 1987 and earned the prestigious, Certified Professional Manager designation in 2000.

Since 1992 he has been involved in bringing Personal Finance education to families across America through his work with various companies. Most recently Mr. Schiano served as President of Genus Credit Management, America's largest, not for profit, Consumer Credit Counseling organization.

Mike's career in Radio began in 1981 and eventually led to work in television, film and public speaking. He also has been writing about personal finance for the past 10 years and currently hosts, "Ask the Debt Buster" for Profina Debt Solutions website.

He lives in Orlando, FL with his wife and three children
